Background

Completed in 2011, The Squaire is an office building in Frankfurt, Germany which was built on top of the existing Frankfurt Airport longdistance train station. The largest office building in Germany, it is a ‘ground scraper’, has nine floors and a pedestrian corridor connects it directly to Frankfurt Airport.

Work was carried out by Gienger Markt Schwaben and >B< Press fittings were used ranging in size from 15mm – 54mm. >B< Press was chosen for its fast and easy installation capabilities that makes it ideal for large scale commercial contracts. Its antimicrobial and corrosion resistant properties means that it is ideal for many applications including drinking water, heating and cooling systems.

With its flame-free, 3-point press joint and unpressed joint indicator feature (EPDM O-ring) means that unpressed joints can be easily identified when working across systems.
