Background

Designed by Spanish architect and structural engineer, Santiago Calatrava, the Turning Torso is located in Malmö on the Swedish side of the Öresund Strait and is regarded as the world’s first twisted skyscraper. Owned by HSB, it was the winner of the 2005 Gold Emporis Skyscraper Award and winner of the 2015, 10 Year Award from the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.

Products

The Conex Compression range of Hexnut plumbing fittings were used. Manufactured in both duplex brass and dezincification resistant (DZR) brass, they can be used in both plumbing and heating applications.

With flame-free installation, the Conex Compression range is quick to use, minimising time on site and are compatible with copper tube, Polybutylene and Pex.
